Top pickOur starting recommendation. A larger install at ~104MB, and the catalogue is broad enough that most people find something on the first evening.
The three routes past a coin paywall, and what each costs
Almost every vertical drama app follows the same shape: the first stretch of episodes is free, you get invested, and then the coins start. The apps differ less in catalogue than in how you get past that point.
Most apps leave a meaningful run of episodes unlocked. If you are happy sampling rather than finishing, this costs nothing at all — but it does mean abandoning stories partway, which is precisely what the paywall is designed to make uncomfortable.
Most of these apps let you open a locked episode by watching a rewarded ad you trigger yourself. You keep your money and spend time instead. The cost scales with the series: negligible over a handful of episodes, wearing across a ninety-episode one.
The episodes that would ask for coins simply play, and the ads between them are gone. Nothing to watch and nothing to buy. What you give up is the Play Store — the build does not update itself, and when the app changes its server-side checks an old one stops working.
Not the catalogue size, but storage and how you actually watch. The apps here range from about 52MB to about 128MB, and the series you want may only exist on one of them. Pick on those two things rather than on which list looks longer.
Frequently asked
Yes — none of the builds listed here ask for payment, and none of them make you watch ads. One still applies a daily episode allowance of its own; the rest do not cap you at all.
Apps do hand out coins through daily check-ins and occasional promotions, and those are legitimate. They rarely scale to a full series, which is the point of the design — the give-away covers a few episodes, not ninety.

One of the lighter installs at ~71MB, from Storymatrix. Quick to try if you are on a metered connection and not sure yet what you like.
From HaloFun, mid-sized at ~78MB. A reasonable second app once you have exhausted a first one.
